Breaking News : DAP Grassroots Want Fresh Election

From The Star :  DAP grassroots members want fresh CEC elections

• PETALING JAYA: A DAP branch chairman has called on the party to declare last month's central executive committee elections null and void 
• Chi Lung Indah chairman K. Yogasigamany told a press conference that a fresh election would restore the integrity and public confidence in the party.
• “If not, public perception of fraud and manipulation in the polls to place a Malay in the CEC will linger on. will affect the image, reputation and credibility of the party,” 
• Yogasigamany, who claimed to represent 10 branches, said they had received a lot of calls from the members following the announcement of the amendments to the election results.
• “The members only come to us as they have no access to the party leadership. We are answerable to them,” he said.
• The amendments resulted in Lim's political secretary, Zairil Khir Johari, moving up from 39th position to 20th which is the last elected position in the CEC.

Well Yogasigamany  first of all you are an Indian. This means Theresa Kok, Guan Eng and Ronnie Liu will not even be able to say your name properly.  Secondly, you are going to get expelled from the party for challenging the Tokong.  

To camouflage the fiasco, they have got Pooi Weng Kong to resign from his temporary post as Election Director. This is just like Shahrizat resigning from her Ministerial post.  She did not resign, she just completed her term as Senator.  Similarly Pooi Weng Kong's job was just a temporary post - over the election period only. It was just a temporary job.   

Anyway there are serious rumblings in the party.  Yogasigamany has used some strong language against the DAP in his Press Conference :  "public perception of fraud and manipulation in the polls".  The Blog  'Stop The Lies'  also thinks that there has been fraud and manipulation in the DAP's party elections. If the DAP wants to effect serious reform they cannot be using dirty tricks and dirty tactics. Supporting a criminal who has been convicted for corrupt abuse of power to arrest and torture a woman for exposing his sexual escapades is just not the right thing to do.  That is a serious boo boo. 

Getting your hands dirtied in land deals in Kelantan, Selangor and Penang is also not the right thing to do. Apa beza sangat kawan? Mana lu punya 'bersih putih'? 

Now this fiasco in the DAP polls. There is a  'public perception of fraud and manipulation in the polls'.  The DAP must come clean on this one.
