Taksub refers to blindly following someone. Taklid is not too far behind. I only know a handful of Muslims who are NOT in this category. The vast majority are all the taksub types. This is also the takde-otak category.

- “A mistake will bring regret in the afterlife,” he said
What he is saying is that if you dont vote for him, you will go to hell. The tin sadin fellow is obviously appealing to the stupid people. Only those who are stupid, the lowly educated, the semi literate, those who believe in black magic, jampi serapah, poo kanan poo kiri, flying horses and stuff like that will think that voting for tin sadin will take them to heaven and not voting for tin sadin will take them to hell. This is definitely the takde-otak category.
Unfortunately our Gomen education system is churning out hundreds of thousands of people in this category every year. Tin sadin is only too grateful to our education system which manufactures so many unthinking and gullible simpletons who will suck up every piece of garbage he throws out at them.
Obviously tin sadin feels that he is closer to his version of god to the exclusion of others. Vote for him you go to heaven, vote for others you go to hell. This is exactly what some Jews said as well, as per the Quran. And the Quran has a simple solution for whoever thinks they are closer to their versions of god. Here it is :
Surah 62:6 Say, "O you who are Jewish, if you claim that you are Allah's chosen, to the exclusion of all other people, then you should long for death if you are truthful!"
It does not matter if its the Jews, the orang kafir, tin sadin or anyone at all who think they are closer to their version of gods to the exclusion of everyone else then the solution is simple - just drop dead and be on your way. This is a logical suggestion. Why waste time on the earth casting votes and aggravating yourself? Do the right thing - drop dead. Long for death. Be on your way.
Here is something else about the majority view (vis a vis the Quran)
Surah 6:116 "If you obey the majority of people on earth, they will divert you from the path of Allah. They follow only conjecture; they only guess"
This is especially relevant for Muslims - if you stray from the Quran and follow the majority - simply because it is the majority view - you will get diverted from the right path. The so called majority opinions only follow conjecture, they only guess.

This matter was brought up by Tun M some time ago. Until today tin sardin has not responded. Everyone will go to hell except those who voted for tin sardin, including those who lived before he was born.
I cannot fathom how narrow minded these people are. 'Tak-de otak' is certainly the right phrase.

Being majority does not make anybody more correct.
In fact, if you have Quran computer software look up the Arabic root word for "few" and you'll find God saying "few are thankful", "those who believe and do righteous deeds are few" and the like.
Why do Muslims make taklid to dead people? This has astounded me since I was a teenager. Why? Surely human beings get clever with time. In fact Muhammad (pbuh&hf) is proud that the learned scholars of his Ummah are superior than scholars in the time of Moses (as).
If you like Physics and follow Dr. Michio Kaku, he had in many occasions paint many scenarios in the changes in technology in future societies. Astounding. Humans get cleverer with time. There is no reason that human wisdom cannot age and blossom with time too.
Surely men of today fully understand what was taught by Shafie (ra), Hanafi (ra), Maliki (ra), and Hanbali (ra). I am sure scholars of today would have noted some incongruences in their flow of thoughts and can now make better judgements than scholars before us. Is knowledge so static? Come on.
How you can say "hmmm, on this subject of of Dr. Muzaffar praying whilst in orbit, kita ikut mazhab Shafie lah". WTH! Shafie (ra) is dead underground. So you want to worship his grave to resurrect him so he answers you whether gene splicing is OK or not?
I think Tn Syed has tried to show some sanity on the need to be critical. He had an article on the book written by Shabbir Ahmed and recently he wrote about Shafie (ra).
This is the problem when you taklid to the dead. The mind becomes numb to the point you make taklid to the living who unfortunately maybe of the "tin sardin" type. Not all are tin sardin but the clear mind can certainly discern.
This will also apply to those who make a wrong choice by voting Pakatan This Nik Aziz thinks that he is maksum and Pas is God-appointed viceroy in this country. How can a vote for Pakatan which is being led by a sodomite be regarded as a heavenly choice? Pas and Nik Aziz choose to ignore this fact. Amanat Haji Hadi regards UMNO supporters as infidels. Now this Amanat can also be applied to Hj Hadi and his supporters as they are now partners of DAP.
Voting UMNO also cannot go to heaven. So, what jives?

10:108 Say, "O mankind, the truth has come to you from your Lord, so whoever is guided is only guided for [the benefit of] his soul, and whoever goes astray only goes astray [in violation] against it. And I am not over you a manager."
10:109 And follow what is revealed to you, and be patient until Allah will judge. And He is the best of judges.
