Iran’s announcement on Monday that it had successfully launched a monkey into space and returned the primate safely to Earth was hailed by the country's media as a victory of the Iranian spirit over Western sanctions. But close examination of before and after photos released by Iran show what appears to be two different monkeys, indicating that Iran's space program may not be as advanced as the country would like to portray.
Examination of before/after photos of monkey allegedly launched by Iran into space reveals what appears to be 2 different monkeys.
Before (left) and after (right) photos of Iranian monkey(s). This picture was released by the Iranian government.
A distinctive red mole above the right eye of the monkey disappeared in the "after" photo. In addition, the monkey's fur seems to have changed colors from a light gray to a darker brown.
The launch had initially alarmed some in the West because the long-range ballistic technology used to propel Iranian satellites into orbit could be put to use dispatching nuclear warheads to a target.
The new photo evidence could suggest that the launch of the "Pishgam" (Pioneer) craft did not actually take place.
My comments : Well maybe the Iranians have discovered a method to remove moles and make grey hair become black again. Space travel can be a face changing event for monkeys. Dont monkey around with the Iranians. You will never know what they will do next.

Tuan Syed, why Iran bashing? Even arab countries so called friend of western countries not even have asingle rocket to put in the orbit. At least iran makes an effort to do this thing.Am l right tuan syed?.
You did not quote the source of your post. Judging by the photo your post displayed, I assume it's from The Telegraph or Popular Science (which itself was sourced from The Telegraph's article). If you read both articles carefully, the source of the story was Space Israel - in other words Israel. Since we are all aware of the current state of Iran-Israel relations now (plus The Telegraph being mainstream media), it's not rocket science to figure out the motive behind the story.
One of the commentator in the aforementioned Popular Science's article give a YouTube video link, showing the monkey during the flight and then being pulled out of the rocket alive. Watch the video here. You don't see a mole on either one.
Bear in mind also that Iran has been successfully launching satellites into orbit for the past few years (more here). Don't underestimate the Iranian capabilities, just because they are not part of the technologically advanced western world or part of what you term "Club of Doom".
Zulfikar Ali Bhutto said that even if Pakistanis had to eat grass Pakistan will make an atom bomb. He was right. They made the atom bomb and they are still eating grass. There is more bravado than common sense in these countries. It is not too difficult to make these things. You just need to spend enuf money & resources ( which can be more gainfully employed elsewhere) and you can hv nuclear bombs, ICBMs etc. I see a sad state of affairs for Iran as well. They dont seem to be aware of their surroundings and what they really hv to do. Searching for enemies 24/7 reflects extreme anti social behaviour. It is proof enuf that they are in a misfit situation vis a vis their neighbours. As for videos, they can be made. They are not in a position to show constant anger at others. It will ultimately eat them up. As always the Quran has good advice "speak gently to your foes. Maybe they will become your friends.
"speak gently to your foes. Maybe they will become your friends"
That is a very good saying indeed!
Haha of ciurse Iranians can launch rockets,it had launch multiple long range missiles b4,but the question is whether the monkey survived or not
It not totally wrong to have nuke or an atomic bomb. If u look at china 40yrs ago china developed her own nuke arsenals and it proven if u got this kind of weapon your enemies would think thrice to attack u and this good for deterrent as claimed by ussr then and usa as well.
Yes,priority must be set right. When ur ppl r poor wat benefits it brings of sending wateva to space. North Korea hs got nuclear warheads & missiles bt look at its citizen. Money spent on tis foolish endeavour should be best spent on education, health & otr basic needs of its ppl.
Iranian scientist are flooding the US due to restriction imposed by the Western on their Iran. The top 10% engineering graduates from Sharif Uni (the best in Iran) will eventually migrate to the US and europe due to frustration on the level of research that they can do especially in field of weponary and etc. Now these technology are trickling back to the home country. It is foolish for the government if they only sit on it. This is not a foolish endeavour at all. This is fardhu kifayah.
DO Ayattolahs tell lies? i think that as long as they are human, they do
pride precede everything.., if the persians get an atomic bomb, the arab world will shiver
If what u say is true Tn Syed then :
1). its a sad testimonial on the Iranians who are supposed to have among the best minds among Middle Easterners.
2). it confirms a view that its impossible for Middle Easterners to be behind 911 - they can't even get the monkey pictures right.
I told u I suspected CIA behind 911. Americans killing Americans - hasn't that happened before ( for democracy ?!? yeah right - more likely for oil or was it world domination or guarding Israel ) ?
Look to other peaceful countries, America. It is possible to progress without waging a war and without stealing other countries' resources .
