PAS HillyBillies Versus New Village Pro-Parti Komunis Malaya DAP

This is from The Star here.
  • Don’t interfere in PAS affairs, Nik Aziz tells Karpal
  • shouldn't interfere in Syura Council ban on “Allah” in non-Muslim books
  • barely a week after Nik Aziz celebrate (Karpal's) birthday.
  • Karpal disputed Hadi that Allah issue accepted by DAP.
  • Karpal steadfast that “Allah” be used in non-Muslim religious books.
  • group of PAS (from) Bachok and here gathered to condemn Karpal
  • spokesman Nordin said stop DAP from mockery of Islam over 'Allah'.
Here is a picture of that protest in Kota Bharu yesterday

These protests by PAS against the DAP are increasing in intensity. This is NOT an UMNO conspiracy ok. This picture above was taken in Kota Bharu - the Ground Zero of PAS-power for the past 23 years. These people's faces are splashed in the newspapers.  Plus their spokesman Nordin Mutalib is also a local PAS guy. People know them. They are NOT UMNO people.

Look at the poster in the middle "Singkirkan Parasit PAS, Barua DAP, Barua PKR Dalam PAS". So now they are saying that there are "barua" DAP and PKR inside PAS. And they are calling them parasites.

Well Kamarudin Jaafar - an Anwar crony - is not only a senior leader of PAS but he has also taken over Harakah - the PAS party organ. This is the classic infiltration technique used by Anwar. So is it any mystery that the Harakah deliberately ran this front page picture to make fun of this 'perut buncit' Fisherman who wants to be Prime Minister ahead of Anwar Ibrahim? The Harakah is now controlled by Kamaruddin Jaafar - an Anwar crony.

And you thought the Harakah gets printed magically by the hand of your gods. Wake up guys. Conspiracies, scheming, power struggles and parasitism is the name of their game.

PAS is now strongly influenced ("controlled"?) by Anwar Ibrahim.  Likewise Anwar's agents are still in UMNO - doing the devil's work from the inside.

The other poster in the picture above says "Penyokong PAS Jangan Undi DAP".  This is also significant.

My view is this time around wherever there are DAP candidates (tak kisah Chinese, Indian or Malay) the PAS Malays and also other Malays are just not going to vote for them in any significant numbers.  This time around the DAP has lost the Malay vote - almost entirely. Maybe only Aspan, Kangkong and that not too bright aristo may vote for the DAP.

Ok lets back track a little. This will be relevant for those of you who are born after 1970.

In 1987 a great cataclysmic event happened. Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah split from UMNO and set up a party called Semangat 46.  For the first time ever Semangat 46 forged an alliance between the DAP and PAS. It was not formal but they began working together.

For the kampong PAS it was another opportunity to fight against 'secular' UMNO who made fun of PAS's many ostat kampong, including tin sadin.  For the DAP it was an opportunity to disunite  the Malay voting bloc - their number one stumbling block. The DAP wants to destroy Malay political power at all costs. They will even sleep with sodomists (with due precautions taken) to destroy Malay unity.

So in 1990 with the help of Tengku Razaleigh the PAS won Kelantan. They have held Kelantan since then.

Then later in 1996 Tengku Razaleigh rejoined UMNO and Semangat 46 was dissolved. Many of his supporters (about 300,000 of them) could not rejoin UMNO simply because they had lost touch with their UMNO cawangan and UMNO bahagian for 10 years.

When Semangat 46 was dissolved in 1996, it looked like the natural death of the Barisan Alternatif.  The lynchpin that held the Barisan Alternatif together ie Tengku Razaleigh and Semangat 46 were both gone.

However by 1995 the DAP and PAS had gone through two General Elections together with Tengku Razaleigh. As happens when precocious boys are locked up in a locker room together, some of them fell in love with each other.  They had started calling themselves the Barisan Alternatif (copy-catted after the Barisan Nasional).

The big loser in the 1995 elections was of course Semangat 46. They were wiped out. PAS only managed to retain Kelantan. The DAP also was nearly wiped out. At that time the Chinese did not like the DAP cooperating with the PAS. (Later in 1999  Lim Kit Siang even lost his Parliamentary seat.)

So when Semangat 46 was dissolved in 1996 it looked like the death of the Barisan Alternatif.

Then in 1998 a miracle happened for PAS and the DAP - Anwar Ibrahim got kicked out of UMNO.  This was like Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah Round 2. It was happening all over again.

Within days of him being kicked out, both the DAP and PAS rallied around Anwar, a man who just a few days before had been labelled their No. 1 Enemy. The man whom Mat Sapu B.O. had labelled 'al-juburi'. The man whom Karpal had loudly accused in Parliament (it is in the Hansard) of being implicated in allegations of sexual improprieties.  The man whom the DAP had accused of being corrupt along with everyone else in Government.

But just like Tengku Razaleigh who had 300,000 supporters in 1987, Anwar also had 300,000 supporters in 1998. Maybe more.  Just like there was sympathy for Tengku Razaleigh among some Malays in 1987, so was there sympathy among Malays for Anwar Ibrahim in 1998.

The PAS still wanted to defeat the hated "secular" UMNO Malays who still made fun and looked down upon them.  The DAP still wanted to permanently destroy Malay political power and the solid Malay voting bloc. So whether it was al-juburi, al-sodomee or al-corrupted it all went out the window. Both the PAS and DAP would just put patches over both their eyes (and cover their behinds as well) and dive into the cesspool to retrieve Anwar Ibrahim.

But the bestiality between these completely different species has always been sado-masochistic. It has been whips, shackles and spikes all the way. They have never had a really romantic night together ever. There have never been any candle light dinners between the PAS and the DAP ever. Theirs is a bestial relationship.

As far as I can remember the DAP and the PAS have been bitching at each other. Karpal is famous for his now famous  "over my dead body" remark when PAS said they wanted to implement their vesion of 'who-doed' in Malaysia.

The DAP and the PAS are further apart from each other than the North Pole is from the South Pole.  If there can be an opposite position greater than 180 degrees, it would be the difference between  the PAS and DAP.   They are poles apart.

The demographics of the DAP's founding generation (who are still around) also includes Chinese New Village folks who were traditionally anti-Malay and anti Government. During the Emergency (1948 - 1960) many of the DAP's future supporters who had been suspected communist sympathisers had been relocated in New Villages by the British. One current DAP Member of Parliament (Selangor) described to me how as a boy he had 'no choice' but to support the communists. He said he used to be part of what was obviously the Min Yuen - the sympathisers who provided food and support for the  communists.

Dont believe me? Have you forgotten that the DAP campaigned strongly for Chin Peng to be allowed to enter Malaysia? They also wanted Chin Peng and the Communist terrorists to be recognised as freedom fighters. Please dont forget so quickly ok?

After Independence in 1957 they could not stand the rise of Malay political power. As a result of total ignorance, they also could not stand Islam  - especially the PAS' version of religion

Then in 1965 another miracle happened. The PAP (the original version of the DAP) won a great big prize - they got Singapore for free. Overnite, they had secured a piece of the Malay Peninsula for themselves.  This inspired the DAP (the PAP's remnant in Malaysia) to try their luck to take over ruling the country. If the PAP can do it, why not the DAP? If the PAP could grab Singapore, why not the DAP try to grab the whole of Malaysia?

Just one minor irritant remained - the Malay voting bloc at the polls. The Malay vote was united and quite unshakeable. The DAP had to find a way to break the Malay voting bloc. They would try anything to break it. This is where Anwar Ibrahim fits in. Lain semua boleh belakang kira. This has now become the raison d'etre (reason for existence) as well as the cassus belli  (reason for waging war) for the DAP. To break  the Malay political power.

What about PAS? PAS (originally the PMIP) was born out of UMNO.  After UMNO was formed in 1946, a group of religious people decided that UMNO was not their cup of tea. So in 1947 a meeting was held in Madrasaah Ehya Al Sharif at Gunung Semanggol in my home state of Perak. This meeting resulted in the setting up of a party called Parti Orang Muslimin Malaya or Hizbul Muslimin in 1948. Among the founders was Dr Burhanuddin Helmy who was also a socialist (and maybe another communist as well). It was a really mixed bag back then. The mentor behind this Hizbul Muslimin party was one Shaikh Abdullah Fahim - the grandfather of Abdullah Badawi, later the Prime Minister of Malaysia.

After its founding in 1948, the British promptly banned the Hizbul Muslimin based on their findings that the Hizbul was influenced by Communists.  I told you - it was a real mixed bag of nuts back then.

Many Hizbul Muslimin then joined up UMNO.  However they really could not stand UMNO's stance of power sharing with the immigrants and secular liberalism.  So they left and founded the PMIP. Again Burhanuddin Helmy played a large role in setting up the PMIP.

(One of the minor yet significant events that led to Burhanuddin Helmy breaking with UMNO had happened earlier during a meeting with Tuanku Abdul Rahman where a woman participant from UMNO - Datuk Paduka Zaleha Ali, the sister of Tun Dr Siti Hasmah Binti Ali - chided Burhanuddin over some matter. He walked out of the meeting forever - he possibly could not stand being insulted by a woman. I heard this story from the late Datuk Paduka Zaleha Ali herself.)

Originally known by their English name PMIP (Pan Malaysian Islamic Party, only later Parti Islam SeMalaysia) they were comprised of outcasts who did not like UMNO sharing power with the kafirs. They did not like the MCA. MIC and other immigrant based parties who had joined with UMNO to form the Alliance. The PMIP wanted only a Malay Muslim Government to rule the country with no power sharing with the immigrant races.

Burhanuddin Helmy (also a socialist and possibly a communist as well) had other strange links. He was strongly pro labour unions as well as strongly pro-Indonesia (pro Sukarno). He was president of the PMIP (PAS) from 1956 until 1969 - 14 years.

On the other side, at that time (1950s and 1960s) the UMNO leadership was made up of largely Western educated, English speaking, secular, extremely liberal, wine and brandy drinking, cosmopolitan Malays.    Among them were definitely socialists (possibly Fabian) and maybe even a closet Marxist (who became Prime Minister of Malaysia).

UMNO embraced a power sharing formula with not just the MCA and MIC but also other parties (in Sabah and Sarawak) who shared the idea of prosperity and peaceful coexistence among all the races of Malaysia. This was the philosophy behind the Alliance and later the Barisan Nasional until this day.  I think this is still part of the influence of that Fabian socialism.

The future PMIP (PAS) leaders in UMNO at that time were opposed to this idea of power sharing with the immigrant races.  Hence they broke away from UMNO and founded PAS. This was not a thousand years ago ok. Just over 50 years ago.

For 34 years, ie from 1956 until 1990 (Semangat 46 and Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah Round 1)  the PAS simply refused to have any dealings with immigrant based parties. Even  in 1990, despite all of Tengku Razaleigh's efforts  the PAS just refused to appear on the same stage with the DAP. They only agreed to cooperating in fielding candidates - to avoid three cornered fights among themselves. In 1990 this was only partly successful I think.

However a few things happened in PAS. Around the early 1980s the more radical religious freaks like Yusof Rawa, Fadhil Noor, tin sadin and Fisherman became increasingly influential in PAS. These were the new Deobandi madrassah and Middle East educated fruitcakes who had imbibed vast quantities of  toxic religious mumbo jumbo.

They replaced the older echelon of PMIP founders in the class of Burhanuddin Helmy  and later Dato Asri Muda.  Burhanuddin Helmy was educated at Aligarh Muslim University in India which was  actually a very Western oriented university founded in 1922. (I think that is where he picked up his socialist and maybe communist leanings).  One Mohammed Habib, a Professor Emeritus at Aligarh University from 1928 - 1958 was a well known Marxist.

Asri Muda had succesfully steered PAS to join the Barisan Nasional for five years. He had shifted PAS' emphasis away from religion to nationalism. He was later kicked out by religious freaks like Yusof Rawa, tin sadin, Fisherman and Fadhil Noor.  PAS has been stuck in the Club of Doom ever since.  Imagine a socialist or pro-Marxist PAS ala Burhanuddin Helmy? Or even a nationalist PAS ala Asri Muda. Instead we have a Taliban PAS ala Yusof Rawa and tin sadin.

So what is the future of PAS? The future of PAS depends on the Malaysian Education system. The Malaysian Education system is now infested with religious mumbo jumbo - from nursery school right until university. The Malays are being fed large doses of illogical hocus pocus that we cannot find in the Quran.

As a result of this religious mumbo jumbo, the Malays are becoming increasingly infected with extremist religious viruses that will make them become backward. They become the perfect support base for people like the PAS.  And we can attribute this to the Malaysian Education system. Racial and religious bigotry will increase among the Malays. This is already happening to some extent.

Eventually the Malaysian Education system will churn out enough Malays who will all think like PAS. Then PAS will triumph. All they have to do is change some of their turbans for more suits and ties, speak more about imaginary unicorns maybe in arabic, teach people things like kalau bini tua restu suami kahwin bini kedua, bini tua boleh masuk syurga (bini muda pula boleh pi shopping),  halal this, haram that, hantu, jembalang and pochong - and they will be home free.  Because this is what the Malaysian Education System is now teaching many Malay students.  So I foresee a brighter future for PAS.

As for the DAP - they should get more Chinese like Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamed to join their party. Or they should get more Tamils like Anwar Ibrahim to join up as well.  This is to balance out Punjabis like Zairil who dominate the party now.

On the serious side, I dont forsee any future for the DAP. In its present shape, moulded by Lim Kit Siang and now his son, the party will die a natural death along with Lim Kit Siang. There is simply no place at all for this type of bigotry by a minority community in this country.

Dear Syed,

As usual, another good write up by you!

To understand the present, it always good to see the history.

100% agreed with your conclusion, PAS has hijacked our educational system (from pre-school level until university) for so long..... that's the only cheap trick they are good at...poisoning the ustaz ustazah brain.... PAS in Kelantan has produced many of them.. those ostad and ustazah influencing our young Malays.

... and kementerian pelajaran is absorbing thousands of these ostads yearly from the various desert universities to complete the process of going back to jahiliah era ..

muslims always complain that the infidels, especially the Westerners manipulate and humiliate them but strangely they aso allow themselves to be mislead by the own ppl,.ostad.

no point just blaming the ostads alone!!!!take two to make a clap, all this happen in our edu system bcos most students dont hv questioning minds...The blinds leading the blinds.

pakatan is taking ppl for a ride, they are laughing behind our back, playing game. One day, Nik and karpal abang -adik, next sparring, then fren again..

Syed, I think this is the first time you refer to pas as hill billies. I like it. Jed Clempet is an honest man, but stupid as hell. Many of those pas guys fit the bill. Lucky that husam guy has not stick a rod in the ground and found black gold. Otherwise al-corupto will offer to be state economic advisor as well.

The ostad and ostazah win with their hocos pocus because most malay parents don't really care about what their children learn in school or may be they themselves are overdosed with religion sampai bangang.

Too much mentioning of PASik in this write up of yours make me SICK TO THE CORE, SAA.

I have only one wish after GE13 and that is the Malay population are united to vote all Malay MPs and form the only Malay government and all the Chinese and their kind can stay in the opposition for good.

What have you been smoking bro?

DAP will survived even when the minorities abandoned MCA/MIC/Gerakan /SUPP/LDP/PPP...

UMNO/BN has reached its end use.
Perikatan survived post-1969 general elections loss by co-opting most opposition parties into BN.

After 2008 elections loss, UMNO/BN is still stuck with old operating model. Like the ancient PC industry stagnate and bypassed by tablets/smartphones worldview...

Like that towering Malay, Tunku Aziz, I don't think Aspan & Kangkong would last long in DAP.
For whatever reason, they decide to join DAP (money?), no one knows who they are going to vote for. Your vote is secret, anyway.

Except for the 'not too bright ones', nobody knows who will go to heaven if you vote for Pakatan.

Anyone who has proceeded through a wahhabi/salafi curriculum from childhood onto university would have been "propagandized" - it's the farthest you can get from the classical madrasah curriculum of the al-ashaari/al-maturidi creed of Islamic civilization, which has been the cornerstone of the ummah for a thousand years.
Just survey what they teach at the King Saud university's islamic studies dept: (1) there is no logic (mantiq); (2) jurisprudential reasoning(usul al-fiqh) is non-rigorous (3)non-madzhab orientation which mixes up everything of the traditional 4 madzhabs of jurisprudence.
Their source of inspiration has been the Hanbali scholar ibn Taymiyyah who proclaimed it haram for the ummah to study "logic". He similarly did away with the traditional "20 attributes of Allah" (sifat 20) which constitutes the Islamic response to speculative philosophy with regards to the nature of the essence of Allah and His relationship with creation.

That is why these "ulama" have been criticizing and denigrating our traditional Malay tok guru pondok for many many decades. So today, it seems quite clear who it is that can't think straight, or has forgotten the singular importance of the sufi science of purification of the heart.

May Allah grant us the guidance of Nur Muhammad (s.a.w.)

Our education ministry have to be carefull when selecting teachers bcoz they are the back bone in our education system who will then mould our children knowledge base. A few of them working at the home ministry must be very stupid also bcoz there are so many mumbo jumbo books at the book store (at Jln TAR). Forget about DAP, PAS & PukiR, they will go down in history as dumbarses clown.

In their haste to garner Christian votes in Sabah & Sarawak, DAP has alienated the peace loving Buddhist Chinese & Thais, Hindus and to some extent, some moderate Christians. These evangelist Christians in DAP are in-fact courting animosity & bloodshed amongst us peace-loving Malaysian.

We use to have PAS treading on religion to win votes which caused disunity & hate among Malay Muslims. Imagine the hatred between different races & religions (This time, Muslims and Christianity), DAP is trying to sow. Once explode, it's difficulty to extinguish.

Vote BN or Konsensus Bebas. Stop the racist DAP & PAS from using religion in politics.

Syed, thanks for a very interesting post here and for providing a fascinating glimpse of Malaysia's history. Your conversational style of writing is a joy to read unlike academic textbooks which pile on fact after fact and easily puts one to sleep. Where can I find more such history of Malaysia to read?
