Two days ago on July 4th, 2026 the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that Russian forces have captured the town of KOSTIANTYNIVKA. The town was actually captured much earlier (at least a couple of weeks earlier) but throughout this operation the Russian official announcements are always delayed.
Indications are the town of Krasny Liman or Liman has also been captured by Russian forces. Again the Russians have not made any official announcements. The Russians are careful with their announcements - they complete mopping up ops before they make announcements.
According to Alexander Mercouris KOSTIANTYNIVKA is a glass manufacturing center and the famous glass ornaments that are fixed on top of those domes in the Kremlin in Moscow were manufactured in KOSTIANTYNIVKA.
Since Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that Russia will no more be pursuing a diplomatic resolution to the conflict the Russian Armed Forces have begun a strong push along the the entire frontlines.
