Like I mentioned yesterday the Russians feared that if Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner travelled by plane from Moscow to Ukraine, their flight might be shot down and the blame will be put on Putin and Russia. So the Russians insisted that Witkoff and Kushner travel by train from Moscow to Kiev. A journey of almost 900 km and 12 hours travel time by train. I am sure Witkoff and Kushner got to view the Russian country side.
Both the envoys from the US had been received by President Putin in Moscow. Not much has transpired since their meeting in Moscow yesterday Saturday 5th September 2026. But Russia has declared a THREE day ceasefire over Kiev only - to keep the two Americans safe.
This will be the first ceasefire since the war began in 2022. It is a good sign.
