I heard this in a podcast early this morning then I checked the news. Four newspapers ie The New York Times, Haaretz, the Jerusalem Post and The Times of Israel have carried the story. Britain's The Guardian has also carried the story as well as Iranian online media. Here they are:

Ahmadinejad began presenting more moderate stance publicly
he eventually accepted he could not return to power under current regime
saw foreign intervention as his path back to leadership
Iran would recognize Israel and join Abraham Accords if he returned to power
Israel also contacted him during 2023 trip to environment conference in Guatemala
Ahmadinejad met Israeli agents in Budapest second time June 2025
Ahmedinajad managed to shake his IRGC bodyguards during that trip
Israel paid Ahmadinejad for housing and travel, according to the report.
Mossad did not respond to a request for comment on the reports.
Ahmadinejad’s office declined to comment.

Ahmadinejad became distrustful of Iranian system
frustration and resentment with Khamenei regime

Lets get back to the fools among you.
I have said time and again - in the Middle East they can sell their own mothers, they kill their own sisters and they can militarily overthrow their own fathers.
Qatar 1995: Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani overthrew his father.
Oman (1970) Son vs father Sultan Qaboos overthrew Sultan Said bin Taimur. The father was wounded then exiled in London until his death.
Saudi Arabia (1964) King Saud forced to abdicate in favor of his half-brother Faisal
Jordan (2021) Half-brothers Prince Hamzah accused of involvement in a plot against King Abdullah II. He was placed under house arrest.
Why do these things happen in the Middle East?
Because NOT ONE of these Islamic countries (including Iran) is democratic.
This means they do not have a civilised system to change their leadership.
Putting it another way it means they are not yet fully civilised.
Leadership change can only happen through the barrel of a gun.
So for you dumb-dumb dummies who want to take sides in every other conflict in the Middle East - let me tell you again. Leave them alone. Let them go to their own hell. You have no part in any of the fighting and killing which these people love so much. They just love the killing, the butchering and with ISIS also rape and slavery.
These are mad, mad, mad civilisations. Just leave them be. We have no part in any of their satanic problems. Its all about their politics, power and money.
