My Comments:
Then why does Egypt close the border with Gaza? The Egyptian border crossing at Rafah is permanently closed. Here is a picture:
Not satisfied with closing its border with Gaza, Egypt has built a huge wall along its 7.5 mile border with Gaza. Here is another picture:
What happened to Arab brotherhood or Islamic brotherhood?
At the same time and for a long time Egypt closed both eyes to smuggling tunnels from Egypt into Gaza. When the smuggling tunnels were "discovered" they would be closed. Or flooded with water. The Egyptian-Gaza border is only 7.5 miles long and is the most closely watched border in the world. So how could those smuggling tunnels (at times maybe 50 of them) could even be built in the first place? Obviously the Egyptian generals were involved in making money.
There are other examples of Egyptian hypocrisy. For 19 years - from 1948 to 1967 - Gaza was ruled by Egypt. Gazans are actually Egyptians and the Arabic spoken in Gaza is Egyptian Arabic. But why didnt Egypt grant Gaza autonomy or create a Palestinian state over those 19 years? Instead Egypt kept Gaza to itself until they lost Gaza to Israel in the 1967 war. Egypt should have created an independent Palestinian State between 1948 and 1967.
Here is a 1949 map showing Gaza as part of Egypt:
My solution to the Gaza problem is just return Gaza back to Egypt. End of story. And return the West Bank back to Jordan. But today Jordan does not want the West Bank. The Egyptian generals are not keen about Gaza either. Maybe because of the smuggling business?
The Egyptian foreign minister spoke about "civil war in Sudan, divided Libya, Yemen crisis, Lebanon, Syria".
Civil war? This means fighting among yourselves. Who asked you to fight all the time? Why do the Arabs like to fight all the time? Here is the movie Lawrence of Arabia from 1961. 64 years ago.
Has anything changed?
