In the first half of 2025 when the Russians put forward their ceasefire proposals again (their proposals date earlier than that) they occupied about TEN PERCENT of Ukrainian territory. Now at end 2025 (four days from 2026) the Russians are occupying close to 20% of Ukrainian territory. But as I have said many times before, the British are unrelenting. They want this war to keep going - even if the last Ukrainian soldier is sacrificed. This is Britain's war against Russia and Germany.
The past few weeks the Russians have begun to move more aggressively towards the Odessa Oblast in south western Ukraine.
Here is the CIA's pro-Ukraine mapping of the Odessa area in late December 2025. I have circled Odessa in red. Those red stripes (mine) indicate Russian strikes and troop movements into Odessa as well as the Russian naval blockade of the Odessa coastline.
Here is pro-Russian hawk Ruslan Belov's podcast of the latest situation in Odessa. When (not if) Odessa falls, Ukraine will be completely cut off and isolated from the sea (Black Sea). Not only will Ukraine lose the war, but by then Russia will have captured even more Ukrainian territory. When Ukraine loses the war NATO will break up. Even the EU might break up. Leading the exit from NATO and the EU could be Germany.
This is really European stupidity. To provoke the Russian bear. Napoleon got his butt kicked by the Russians. The German Nazis got massacred by the Russians. Do they honestly think they can defeat Russia? The quick answer is NO they do not think they can defeat Russia. They know they cannot defeat Russia.
So why keep fighting a lost war? Because it is the Ukrainians who are being sacrificed. But the orders are being issued by the British.
