If you dont have one hour to spare try to find the time.
Mr Trump is a billionaire worth over US$9 BILLION.
He is also president of the largest economy in the world.
In this speech he mentioned the following:
1. He will bring down the prices of imported prescription drugs by up to 90% in the USA.
What this will do is force local American suppliers of pharmaceuticals to also cut their prices. There is going to be a great reckoning in the pharmaceuticals industry in the US - to the great benefit of the ordinary American citizen.
2. Mr Trump says the price of petrol has also come down all over the United States. In some states petrol is already selling at US$1.99 per gallon. Again this is to the great benefit of the ordinary American citizen.
3. Mr Trump says he is going to get Congress to pass legislation that will restrict credit card companies from charging not more than 10% per annum on credit card debt. Presently American credit card companies charge 28% to 32% per annum on credit card debt. This will greatly benefit the ordinary American citizen. Mr Trump talks about ordinary American people losing their homes (bankruptcy) because they could not pay their credit card debt. Does this sound familiar?
4. Mr Trump says he will do his best to cut US mortgage rates to 6% per annum or less than that. He will be appointing a new Chairman of the Federal Reserve who will likely work with him in cutting interest rates in America. Again all this will greatly benefit the ordinary American people.
This is the hallmark of a great leader. He really cares for the oridinary people. A great leader fixes problems at their source so that they do not become problems.
Foolish leaders can only think up temporary solutions and use duct tape to patch the holes. For example 'I will give you RM100 pocket money'. Anyway here is Donald Trump.
