My friend Kerk Boon Leng who is a senior lawyer visited Mumbai recently. Kerk is infatuated with India. He has visited India SIX times in the past THREE years (I am counting this Mumbai trip as well).

I first visited India in 1966 when I was six years old. I have many memories from that trip but they are not too good. I visited India again in 1987 for about three days - on a whacko business trip (meaning there were whackos). I had to engineer an escape - hence the three days. Needless to say it was a horrible trip. Now another almost 40 years have gone by and needless to say I have no plans of visiting India ever again. A few years back my son toured India with some colleagues for over a week. I could not sleep well until he landed at KLIA.
I am quite sure Kerk will be making more trips to India.
