My Comments:
In my view there are two very interesting points here.
There is an arrest warrant from the International Criminal Court or ICC which has been issued against President Putin (for war crimes) by an ICC prosecutor who is himself an accused rapist. And the fellow is a Muslim. The ICC is of course a loyal European proxy. Based on that ICC warrant, all countries who are members of the ICC including Germany can arrest Mr Putin.
If the Trump-Putin meeting is going to be held in Munich, the US (which is not a member of the ICC) and also Germany (which is a member of the ICC) are basically telling the ICC to shove their arrest warrant where the sun does not shine.
The other more relevant point is that
That is today. (Happy Valentine's Day). A Russian delegation is already in Munich? And they will be having meetings with US Vice President JD Vance and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio. That is really jumping the gun. This is Donald Trump really showing the woke Europeans that America is indeed still the biggest dog in the boneyard.
So where is NATO? Where is Ursula Van Der Lyin the head of the EU? Where is Keir Starmer and the UK?
If Mr Putin and Mr Trump are going to meet in Germany and if there already is a Russian delegation in Munich today 14th February 2025 (Happy Valentine's Day) I believe it is a covert signal to the German people to vote for the AfD (Alternatif fur Deutschland) party in the coming German elections on February 23rd (nine days away).
The AfD has made it plain that if they win the German elections on February 23rd, they will normalise relations with Russia. I really hope that will happen.
The larger outcome of this whole shebang is that "woke" is dying in Europe and in the West. In the US "woke" is dead. In Hungary, Italy, Holland, Argentina woke is dead or dying. If Nigel Farage of the Reform Party wins the next elections in the UK "woke" will truly be dead in the English speaking world. Of course the real thorny rose will be Madam Marine Le Pen in France who is now the leader of the Opposition. She also won the European elections (the totally screwed up EU system) in France. Emmanuel Macron, the Rotchschild Bank candidate has turned out to be such a limp noodle in France. Surely France deserves better. France deserves Marine Le Pen.
This Trump-Putin, US-Russia BFF thingy is a great start. The German elections on the 23rd February is the next big event.
