Latest news out of Gaza says that Yahya Sinwar the Hamas chief in Gaza has been killed today 17th October 2024. Reports say that Sinwar was killed along with two other Hamas fighters during a firefight on the ground. He was not taken out in an airstrike - as per other reports.
So where are the remaining hostages? Both Ismail Haniyeh and Yahya Sinwar have been taken out of the equation. Who will now step into the leadership of Hamas? If there are negotiations who will negotiate? As before those decisions are not made inside Gaza. Those decisions are still being made in Qatar - by the Muslim Brotherhood.
