FLIGHTS TO IRAN STILL CLOSED

 

The ayatollah has declared complete victory over the US and Israel. The IRGC has also placed an assassination order against President Donald Trump. All over Teheran and Iran propaganda posters are popping up to broadcast the ayatollah's victory. Here is an example - it shows Donald Trump kneeling and pleading for mercy from the ayatollah. 

Closer to earth, Iranian airspace is still under the control of the Israeli airforce. No international flights are allowed to land or take off from Teheran Airport. Since two days ago, international flights are only allowed to fly through Iranian airspace (overflights) on their international routes.

Only the eastern part of Iran has been opened up a little more - domestic flights are allowed. The central and western parts of Iran remain closed. (See map below, dated 29 June 2025) 

  

Israeli warplanes are still flying air patrols into Iranian airspace at will. There is no effective air defense system in Iran. The Iranian airforce has been destroyed on the ground. Iran has not claimed to have shot down any of the Israeli warplanes - other than one small drone. There are videos on Social Media of Iranian anti aircraft "guns" still firing into the sky at night. AA guns are not effective above 17,000 feet (5000 meters).
