It was a long day today. I just had time to listen to the Bukit Aman Press Conference about the Zara Qairina death in Sabah.
I have some questions, points for the attention of Datuk M Kumar the Pengarah JSJ Bukit Aman and also for the Press.

OSTB: I made some notes from the Bukit Aman Press Conference by Datuk M Kumar. My notes are in black. Then I have some questions and comments in blue.

16 July 25, 8 pagi police report by guru.
OSTB: 16 July 2025 was a Wednesday - a school day. A Police Report was made by a guru. Who was the guru? Why was this particular guru involved? The Police Report was made about 8 am.
- Since the guru made the Police Report at 8 am,
- was the Police called by telephone before the 8 am report by the guru?
- If the Police was called by telephone what time was the Police called?
- Who called the Police?
- If the Police was not called before 8 am why not?
- What time did the first Police personnel arrive at the site where Zara was found?
- Was it on 16 July? Was it on 17 July 2025?
- If the guru made the Police Report about 8 am what time exactly was Zara Qairina found lying unconscious?
- Media reports say the child fell between 3 am and 4 am.
- Who was or were (plural) the first to arrive at the scene where Zara Qairina was found lying?
- What were the exact movements, actions of the warden, the teachers, school staff at site from say 12 midnite until the time Zara was first found lying unconscious?
- What time was she first found lying unconscious at the site?
- Who took her to hospital? And how?
- Who exactly found her?
- Where exactly was she found?
- Was it near a longkang? Or inside a longkang?
- Since it has been stated by Datuk M Kumar that she fell from a height, what was the height? 1st floor, 2nd floor, 3rd floor, 4th floor etc?
- Were there windows above the spot where she was found?
- If so did she fall from the same window? What type of window was it?
- Was there a balcony above the spot where she was found?
- If so did she fall from the same balcony?
Cause of Death: severe traumatic brain injury.
Hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE)
Injury sustained due to a fall.
Cause of death due to a fall.
Apa mengakibatkan Zara terjun??? !!!
Tak tahu terjun atau jatuh.
Inquest perlu dibuat.
OSTB: Google says: Hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE) is a brain injury that occurs when a newborn's brain doesn't get enough oxygen or blood flow.
Google says this HIE injury is an internal injury suffered by new born babies. Meaning in such cases (new borns) there would be no external injuries.
But Datuk M Kumar said: Cause of Death: severe traumatic brain injury. My question is were there any severe external injuries on her head, on her face, was her skull broken etc as a result of falling from a height?
Since she fell from a height and suffered severe traumatic brain injury, then most certainly there must be severe EXTERNAL injuries to her head, face or skull.
Did her mother who performed the mandi jenazah on her daughter say that she saw external injuries to Zara's head, face, broken skull etc?
It is quite impossible for a child who fell from a height and suffered severe traumatic brain injury TO NOT SUFFER any EXTERNAL injuries to her head, face, broken skull etc.
This point needs some clarification from Datuk M Kumar.Were there any EXTERNAL injuries to her head, skull, face etc.
Because if there were no EXTERNAL injuries to the head, face or skull it raises more questions.
Task Force Bkt Aman - 9 anggota. Mula 11hb Ogos.
Ketidakpatuhan kpd prosedur siasatan.
IO tidak buat permohonan utk postmortem.
Tindakan tegas akan di ambil terhadap IO dan ketua.
Ibu, Dr, pathologist dan pegawai penyiasat sudah sign dokumen batalkan post mortem.
10 Ogos atas permintaan Polis bedah siasat telah dibuat.
Postmortem sama dgn diagnosis kematian yang awal.
12 Ogos 2025 Inquest perlu dibuat

1. Siasatan menjurus ke arah buli.
3. Sek 507D (2) Penjara 10 tahun atau denda
But there is evidence (for bullying) says Datuk Kumar at minute 13:06
- dalam proses siasatan Polis.
82 people direkod statement.
Ada yang dipanggil semula.
OSTB: Datuk Kumar, not only you say there is evidence (for bullying) but you also quote Sek 507D (2) 10 tahun (Penjara) atau denda.
So are you suggesting that Zara's fall was the direct result of bullying - because otherwise why do you mention Sek 507D (2), 10 tahun (penjara) in the first place ?
Then you say there is evidence (for bullying) If this is the case then why have there been no arrests or detentions yet?
