ABSOLUTELY ZERO MILITARY OBJECTIVES

Yesterday's death of Yahya Sinwar the leader of the Hamas again exposes the total futility of this entire episode in the Middle East.

Perhaps more futile than Hamas is the 'strategy' of Hezbollah which saw 30 years of their "war preparation" getting wiped out in just three weeks. Including the killing of not only their leader Hassan Nasrallah but also the killing of his successor and the successor after him - all three killed within a few days.

Hassan Nasrallah had absolutely no training or experience in modern warfare or military strategy. He was a fat guy, an overweight mullah who obviously enjoyed eating too much. And pretending to be a military leader.

The ridiculousness of Hezbollah's 30 years' military preparations can be seen in their decision to place rockets inside civilian homes. The biggest flaw was the bricks and wood 'home renovations' required to house the rockets. Doorways had to be widened, openings made in the walls, concrete platforms raised etc all of which became useless once the houses were bombed from the air. Once they were damaged, there was no way of repairing these "civilian homes" rocket launch sites. Almost all missiles are fired from mobile launchers - shoot and scoot - to avoid detection and destruction. Placing rockets inside 'unmovable' civilian homes was just not military thinking. The enemy already had each and everyone of these houses carefully mapped out.

Again there was zero military objective.  It was just 'playing military' by Hezbollah - with deadly consequences for themselves. And after firing their small calibre rockets (usually carrying less than 10kg of explosives) there was no ground army ready to attack Israel and capture territory. That was not in their planning.

This was exactly like Hamas who attacked Israel on October 7th 2023. The 7,000 or so attackers all turned around and fled back into Gaza within a few hours, leaving behind over 1,000 Hamas dead inside Israel. No military objective was achieved. They just set off fireworks and danced in the streets to celebrate their "victory". Until the Israelis came and destroyed the Hamas permanently.

And now Iran waits their turn. No military objectives have been achieved from their firing over 550 missiles, except some propaganda to placate the IRGC that the mullahs are great military strategists.  Even that is fading away rapidly.
