COLLAPSE OF 85 YEAR OLD WESTERN ALLIANCE

Elon Musk, perhaps the world's richest man and a member of President Trump's Cabinet as well as the owner of Space-X, Starlink, Tesla and plenty more has been threatening to shut off his Starlink satellite communications system in Ukraine. Emil Cosman (above) says that by saying so (and doing so) Elon Musk paints a target on his head. Any number of Ukrainian crazies or British schemers will be happy to see the end of Musk.

But Elon Musk is not alone. The Trump team, including Vice President JD Vance, seem to think very poorly of the entire concept of the "western Alliance".  Western Alliance simply means 'no Russia'. The British and to some extent the French have been paranoid about Russia for a few centuries. There is also an old time and ongoing rift between the Eastern Orthodox Church (Russia) and the Catholics (French, western Europe).

The Crimean War (1850s) still remains in the memory of the British, French and the Russians. The Russians lost the war then. One of the big sparks that caused the war was the treatment of the Eastern Orthodox Church in the "Holy Land"- aka 'Palestine' - by the Muslim Ottoman rulers of the Middle East. The Ottomans were allies of the British and French.

At that time the United States was not yet a world power. The US would not become a world power until the 20th century. There was always resistance in the US against getting involved in European affairs. As late as the 20th century, the US was reluctant to enter both the First (1917) and Second World Wars (1941).

It has been suggested by conspiracy theorists (of course) that Winston Churchill who was First Lord of the Admiralty or something of the British Navy in the First World War, "engineered" the sinking of the Lusitania in 1915 - a British passenger ship sailing from New York to Liverpool. The ship was sunk by a German submarine near Ireland. Over a thousand people died including Americans. This served as a catalyst to get America involved in the war, which still did not happen until 1917. Although a passenger liner, the Lusitania was carrying a cargo of American ammunition for British forces, thus making the ship a "military target" for the Germans. Of course information had 'leaked' to German 'spies' about the Lusitania's military cargo. Hence the torpedo.

Although the Second World War in Europe began in 1939, the Americans would not enter the war until Japan attacked Pearl Harbour on December 7th 1941. If the Japanese had not attacked Pearl Harbour,  the most likely scenario would have been that Germany still occupied all of western Europe (except the UK and Ireland) past 1945. America was always a 'late-participant' in European shenanigans - especially British skulduggery. It also has to do with ancestry. For example US Vice President JD Vance is of Irish-German lineage - both the Irish and Germans never liked the British.

The only time that America saw the importance of a European alliance was in the fight against communism aka the Soviet Union aka Russia. But that lasted for a very short while from 1945 until the collapse of communism in 1989. Only 44 years. And now it has already been 36 years since communism collapsed. Time flies.

And for 36 years Russia is now a secular country with a solidly Christian grounding  - as it always has been for a long time.  The 'conventional', modern European civilisation. When President Trump said recently, "Our message to every child in America is that you are perfect exactly the way God made you"  he was repeating the same anti-wokeism that President Putin has been saying for the past 20 years. Russia and America now speak the same language.

When the British fought the Russians in the Crimean War the Brits had an empire. They were the world's number 1 superpower. Now the British are a nation of Pakistani shopkeepers and Indian politicians.  Russia is still deemed a 'permanent enemy of the British Empire' but there is no more empire.

What is really happening here is that the British (and the French) are removing themselves from the scene. The sun has set on the British Empire.
