Last Tuesday 12th August a friend and I were invited to lunch with Dato Hamzah Zainuddin the Leader of the Opposition at his office in Bukit Tunku. It was just after a Parliamentary session so a few MPs were also there fresh from Parliament, including YB Thakiyuddin Hassan of Pas. I am still a member of Bersatu, though a highly inactive one and also critical of the party at times.
With YB Thakiyuddin of Pas
The PN or Perikatan Nasional has been doing plenty of work around the country. They have been meeting various groups from the Chinese and Indian communities like Chinese business groups, NGOs, religious associations and such. The PN has also visited Singapore (upon invitation) and spoken to the Singaporeans.
The PN is quite confident of securing at least 80 Parliamentary seats in the next elections. My view is they can secure a higher number. (And I have some suggestions how they can win much higher - maybe 100 seats or more). If they can win 80 seats it will be a home run to form a coalition with 32 more seats. Sarawak and Sabah will be approachable. Folks, the next Prime Minister will be from the PN.
Some of you really dumb @$$e$ have been asking - who else is there? How about someone who has a brain? Or how about someone who will not lose his deposit?
The consensus is becoming more solid that both PKR and UMNO will be wiped out. This is becoming more obvious. And that fellow is going to lose his deposit. Unless YB Theresa Kok gives way for him to run in Seputeh. Even then the Chinese in Seputeh might decide to throw him out as well.
Did you know that the "ceasefire between Cambodia and Thailand" was "forced" by President Donald Trump. Trump had threatened both Thailand and Cambodia with 1000% tariff or something crazy like that if they did not cut their bullshit. So they stopped fighting.
This is also why Cambodia publicly thanked President Trump for arranging the ceasefire. 'Cambodia nominates Trump for Nobel Prize after Thai border truce. Cambodia credits US President Donald Trump for brokering Thai border truce, nominates him for Nobel Peace Prize after he sharply reduced tariffs' . Cambodia forgot to say thank you to anyone else.
The PN has now formed an informal alliance with TWELVE other political parties.
I know FIVE people here very well. A sixth fellow knows me.
After Muhyiddin meet, 12 Opposition parties form ‘loose coalition’
In recent political developments, the Perikatan Nasional (PN) coalition has been engaging in discussions and meetings with other political parties. These meetings are part of ongoing efforts to explore potential alliances and collaborations within the Malaysian political landscape. Specific details about the nature of these meetings and the parties involved are still emerging, but they indicate a dynamic and evolving political environment
Malaysiakini reported that these included Perikatan Nasional components (Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia, PAS, Gerakan, Malaysian Indian People’s Party), Malaysian United Democratic Alliance (Muda), former Gerakan Tanah Air members (Parti Pejuang Tanahair, Parti Bumiputera Perkasa Malaysia or Putra, Berjasa), Malaysian Advancement Party, National Indian Muslim Alliance Party, Urimai (and the Socialist Party of Malaysia (PSM))
May I suggest that the PN begin building up its image as PN12. That the PN has the support and friendship of 12 other parties in the country. These 12 parties have their supporters and networks throughout the country. Taken together as a whole it will still be a formidable grouping.
It will magnify the PN's image as a multi-racial coalition.
