After his three hour meeting with President Putin in Alaska last Friday, President Donald Trump was met in the White House for about an hour yesterday (Monday) by Zelenskiyy of Ukraine. They met the Press afterwards. Without a doubt US President Trump is the most Press friendly world leader ever. Yes he might like the publicity but it also places the president at great risk of having to answer so many questions by the world's Press.
You can hear in this video where Trump says that the corrupt Joe Biden was the one who started this war and that Biden "gave money" to Ukraine. This is a direct signal to Zelenskiyy that he has nothing to do with this war and neither will he give away American taxpayers' money.
Then President Trump said that President Putin wants peace, Zelenskiyy wants peace but the Europeans (UK, France, Germany) do not want peace. Directly hitting Zelenskiyy that he is not in charge of his own country or of the fate of the Ukrainian people. The Europeans are in charge.
Finally Mr Trump says that peace can be achieved even without a ceasefire. The British want a ceasefire so that they can rearm Ukraine and then to continue the war. The British have absolutely no interest in a permanent peace. They want to fight Russia right down to the last Ukrainian remaining alive. Trump has thrown a spanner in this scheming by saying that even if there is no ceasefire a peace can still be achieved.
After meeting Zelenskiyy President Trump then met with seven European leaders (UK, France, Germany etc). No news yet.
