BREAKING: SAUDI, US APPROVE ISRAELI BOMBING OF DOHA. A WARNING TO EMIR OF QATAR

  • Israel carried out assassination attempt on top Hamas leaders in Doha
  • multiple explosions have been heard.
  • followed by plumes of smoke
  • Israel confirmed it targeted Hamas officials in Doha.
  • Hamas said attack targeted Hamas’s team
  • Al Jazeera does not have details yet on damages or any casualties.
  • Palestinian media reports that two people were killed
  • dead are Himam al-Hayya, the son of Hamas leader in Gaza Khalil al-Hayya, and Jihad Labad, the director of Khalil al-Hayya’s office.

My Comments:

The picture above shows the Hamas office in Doha, Qatar that was hit by the Israelis today. It is a small building which is still intact. You can see the six airconditioners on the roof are intact. The damage appears minimal. Meaning a small weapon was used - possibly a small diameter missile. This was a warning shot - not really a kill shot. It may not have been Israeli jets maybe a Heron type drone.

The distance from Israel to Qatar is about 1,800 km. The news says that the US was informed about the attack. Meaning the US approved it. Looking at the map the Israeli attack (jets or drone) must have flown over Saudi Arabian airspace. This means Saudi Arabia had given their blessings too. (The Saudis have publicly condemned the attack).

The Saudis and the UAE totally dislike Qatar which has very strong ties with the Muslim Brotherhood aka HAMAS.

There are conflicting reports about who and how many people were killed in this Israeli strike.

I think that is not relevant. This is an obvious warning by the Israelis to the Emir of Qatar who has been hosting and funding HAMAS aka Muslim Brotherhood for decades now in Qatar. The Israelis are telling the Emir of Qatar 'We can get you anytime'.

The US maintains the largest military base in the Middle East at Al Udeid in Doha. The base was fully paid for by Qatar and its operations are also subsidised by Qatar.

The US has issued a "shelter in place" advisory to all US citizens in Qatar. "Shelter in place" means taking immediate, protective action in the structure where you are—such as a home, school, or workplace—to avoid a threat like a chemical spill, hazardous materials release, or an external danger like an active police situation."

The Emir of Qatar must be feeling very warm under the collar right now. The situation is still developing.
