Menteri Luar YB Mohd Hassan Jangan Terlibat Kes Palestin Bunuh Palestin

This news first came out in February 2025:

Today I saw this report.

My Comments :

So the Palestinian prisoners are coming to town. Where will they be housed? At whose expense?

The Foreign Minister Mohd Hassan is quoted by Free Malaysia Today as saying 'some of the Palestinian prisoners had been detained by Israel without trial for 20 years'.

I would advise the Foreign Minister to be careful with statement like these.

As an example "Yahya Sinwar was convicted by Israel in 1988 for his role in the killing of Palestinians suspected of collaborating with Israeli authorities. Reports indicate that he was personally involved in or ordered the execution of at least four suspected collaborators within Hamas’ ranks.   Sinwar was a founding member of Hamas' internal security apparatus, known as Majd, which was responsible for identifying and eliminating suspected collaborators".

These 20 year detainees (with or without trial) usually involve serious cases like murder and killing people. Including Palestinians killing Palestinians.

The Middle East is a very complicated place. They are pretty screwed up. For example the Hamas will shoot and kill on sight their fellow Palestinians from the PA or Palestinian Authority. Because the PA is made up of Al Fatah - who are enemies of Hamas.

For the past few months there has been serious fighting and killing between Palestinian factions in the West Bank. Here is some news from Jan 2025.

So be careful.  My advise is do not get involved with people who have committed murder, including murder against their own kind.   Do not bring murderers and killers to our country.

You are quoted by FMT as saying "Wisma Putra is finalising the matter and will send a team to Palestine to assess those who wished to be selected for relocation to Malaysia".

Did you really say this or are you being misquoted by the Press? How can you send a team to Palestine when the Israelis control all access to Gaza?

And these prisoners are NOT being held in Gaza. These Palestinian prisoners have not been released by Israel yet. I assume they are being held in jail inside Israel.  And the Israelis will not allow Malaysia any access to the prisoners inside their jails. We do not have diplomatic relations with Israel.

So how are your officers going to get access to them in the first place?

The earlier report (above) said that some of the Palestinians have been released into Egyptian custody and are being held (in detention) by Egypt !!  I dont know how far this is true.  In such event the Egyptians may not give you the option of choosing or rejecting the prisoners.

Other than Qatar none of the Arab countries are taking any of these Palestinian prisoners. Not Saudi Arabia, not Syria, not UAE or Algeria etc. How come? Even Qatar is doubtful - Donald Trump is watching them carefully.

Remember the Malay wisdom " kera di hutan di susukan, anak di rumah kelaparan".
