ASIAN SPRING : NEPAL BURNS IN ANTI CORRUPTION PROTESTS, LIKE INDONESIA

 

Do read my conclusion. 

After Indonesia, it is now the turn of Nepal to burn. These 'ANTI-CORRUPTION' protests seem to be getting a life of their own. This is the THIRD street rally or protest in a THIRD Asian country - after Indonesia and Benua Asia Tenggalam. But the protests in Benua Asia Tenggalam were peaceful. Not violent.

MY CONCLUSION: Here is the real problem. Will Indonesia, Nepal and Benua Asia Tenggalam be able to right their wrongs and progress at a quicker pace? The very important question is at what speed? How quick is a "quicker pace"? How many decades before the people and the societies realise that they are shit eating stupid? 

• Because the problem lies within the people themselves. 
• The societies themselves are quite sick and stupid. 
• What I call 'shit eating stupid'. 

Do you really think that just by introducing democracy, five year elections, 'freedom of speech' etc these societies are magically going to become paradises on earth. Please do not be shit eating stupid.

To really progress as a society you must have moral values. When you see the other fellow trying to change lanes in a traffic jam do you give way to the fellow? Or do you cut him off? Do you look at the driver of the other car first and see what is his race before you decide what to do?  If that is what you do, you belong to 'shit eating stupid'. In such event it does not matter what system you have - democracy, communist, atheist, socialist or whatever - you are doomed.

So lets say the street protests in Nepal, Indonesia and Benua Asia Tenggalam are successful. Say the corrupt leaders, the really, really useless parliamentarians are all thrown out. And then they are replaced by a new batch - BY YOU for example. Then you walk in with the same moral (or immoral) values, the same arrogance, the same 'I dont care', 'now its my turn to curi' attitude -  then absolutely nothing will change.

For the first time in their entire history Indonesia became a democracy in 1998. 27 years ago. But looking at all the street protests and fires that were burning in Indonesia from Sumatera to Sulawesi, just two weeks ago, do you think Indonesian society has made the lives of its almost 300 million people any easier?  The answer is NO. They are doomed. 

Why? Because the society itself has not enough moral values that have shown any real capacity to uplift themselves from shit eating stupid to become a more progressive society - despite the passage of 27 years of "demokrasi". Its just not happening in Indonesia. Recall the Indonesians who were selling satay daging anjing some years ago? Years ago I paid good money for a young fruit tree from an Indonesian  nursery fellow. After more than five years (after the tree had grown tall) I realised he had sold me some jungle tree. It was not a fruit tree at all. More recently I got cheated by an Indonesian stall selling yong tau fu in Kelana Jaya. These folks are just not there yet. 

In Nepal perhaps it is worse. In Nepal the real problems lie in:

Fake nationalism 

Politicians dividing people

Religion used for politics

Ethnic groups exploited

History rewritten for power

Truth silenced

Lies repeated until believed 

• The Nepali politicians did not make up this list. 
• The politicians are themselves shit eating stupid. 
• The politicians do not have the intelligence to make up this type of list. 

The politicians just observe carefully what makes the society tick. 
They see carefully what "turns the people on". 
If the society enjoys eating shit, the politicians will serve them shit. 
Its as simple as that. 

Race, ethnicity, caste, religion, language are bread and butter in Nepali society.

You think some street protests and burning down their Parliament is going to change these shit eating attitudes overnite?  Please wake up and smell the shit ok.

Remember Abraham Lincoln's 'by the people, of the people and for the people'. Abraham Lincoln said this after the Battle of Gettysburg in 1863 where 50,000 white men died fighting each other for and against slavery of the black people. The white men who were opposed to human slavery won on that day.  Higher moral values carried the day - and the Americans went on to become the greatest nation on the surface of this earth, till now. They have made some mistakes but nonetheless they are a leader among human civilisation. There has been no other civilisation which has had a greater impact on the entire human race than the United States of America. Hopefully China will do much better than America. 

Lets take the Middle East. I have said many times - Satan lives permanently in the Middle East. The Middle East is the Permanent Residency of Satan. The people there are shit eating stupid - what with their tribalism, their clans, their racism, their screwed up cults, their sectarian shit and other such crap. Those people are just doomed. They will burn and burn and burn. 

You want to introduce 'democracy' to them? Just look at Indonesia, Nepal and Benua Asia Tenggalam. These are supposedly "democratic" societies.

So who will set up a new political party? It will be called 'Make space for the other fellow Party'. Thats where the human race went wrong in the first place. And we are still trying to get back on the right track. But there is a huge obstacle blocking the path. It is called shit eating stupid.
